Step 1: Get your profile in the best shape possible
Make sure your personal and company information is complete and up-to-date. This will help you to connect with other members and increase your visibility on the platform. Here are some tips to improve your profile:
Add a professional profile picture: Make sure your profile picture is professional and represents you as a member of the community.
Update your job title: Ensure your job title is accurate and reflects your current role.
Add a short bio: Include a brief summary of your experience, interests, and expertise to help other members understand your background.
Provide links to your website and social media profiles: This will help other members to find out more about you and your work.
Teams member? You can also update your company profile to include a showcase of your products / services, case studies and awards! You can even select a specific tag to show your interest in hiring or investment.
Step 2: Choose your areas of interest
AIXR covers a wide range of topics related to the metaverse, and we want to make sure you get the most relevant information for your needs. Click on the "Groups" button on the side menu of the platform and follow the sector that interest you the most. This will help us customize your experience on the platform.
If you are a pro member you can also apply for advisor status to be assigned to a particular group to join in monthly specialist meetings, and receive elevated perks as part of the advisor community.
Step 3: Start connecting with other members
AIXR is a community of professionals, and we encourage you to connect with other members who share similar interests. You can find and connect with other members by using the search bar, by joining a group or filtering through the network section of the directory.
As a free user you can favourite a member to add them to your own list, and as a pro member you can click the request introduction button to get connected instantly.
Pro member tip! Use the wide range of filters and search functions on the platform to narrow down your search and find people more closely connected to you. As a pro member you can also click the "Request introduction" button to have a personalised introduction sent to the other member.
Step 4: Connect your account to Discord
AIXR has a Discord server that you can join to connect with other members and participate in discussions. We've automated the process so you will receive access to different areas based on the groups you follow and the level of membership you have.

Log in to your Discord account or create a new one if you don't have one.
From your AIXR profile click the connect to discord button
Once connected, you'll be able to access the AIXR Discord server and join the conversation.
