Received an introduction message from us? Here’s the quick lowdown on why and how we do it, minus the fluff.

Why Introductions?

  1. Connect: Our goal is to link people together. It’s simple: you might have something in common, or perhaps can help each other out.

  2. Collaborate: Two heads are better than one. Introducing people can spark new projects or ideas.

  3. Support: We’re here to help everyone in our network grow and succeed. By connecting you with others, we’re providing a little nudge in the right direction.

How It Works

  1. Spotting Opportunities: We keep our eyes open for chances to connect people who might benefit from knowing each other.

  2. Always Introducing (Unless You Say No): We’ll introduce you to someone unless you’ve told us specifically not to. If you haven’t said no, we assume an intro is okay.

    1. Passive Introductions: Sometimes we connect people based on what we think might be a good match, without them asking.

    2. Active Introductions: Other times, someone asks us to introduce them to you. We do that, too.

  3. Direct and Clear Intros: When we introduce you, we’ll tell you exactly why we think the intro is worth your time.

After an Introduction

  1. Take Action: Got introduced? Great, make the next move. Send a message, set up a call—whatever works best.

  2. Stay Open: Not every intro is going to be a home run, but give it a shot. You never know what can come from a new connection.

  3. Feedback Helps: Tell us how it went. Good or bad, knowing how the intro worked out helps us get better at this.

To Wrap Up

Intros are what keep our community dynamic and growing. Not all of them will lead to something big, but each one is a chance to expand your network and maybe even start something cool.
