For your entry to be properly evaluated in the AIXR XR Awards, our judges need access to your project through the Meta Beta Release Channel. This guide explains how to provide the necessary access while ensuring your app remains secure and private.

To ensure a seamless evaluation process, we require access to your app via a public Beta Release Channel link. This method allows our judges to download and test your app without requiring individual invitations. Rest assured, this link is only shared with our judging team, all of whom are bound by strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and contractual agreements to protect your intellectual property. Making the channel public does not expose your app to the general public; it simply allows access to those with the direct link.

1. Log in to the Meta Quest Developer Dashboard:

- Go to the Meta Quest Developer Dashboard.

- Enter your credentials to log in.

2. Select Your App:

- From your list of projects, select the app you submitted to the AIXR XR Awards.

3. Access the Release Channels:

- In the left-hand navigation menu, click on **Distribution > Release Channels**.

4. Configure the Beta Channel:

- Locate the **BETA** channel from the list of available release channels.

- Set the BETA channel to **Public**. This setting allows users with the link to access your app without requiring an email invitation.

5. Copy the Public Link:

- After making the channel public, a link will be generated. This is your public Beta Release Channel link.

- Copy this link to share with our judging team.

6. Submit the Link:

- Send the copied link to [contact email] by the deadline specified in your submission guidelines.

If you encounter any issues with providing access via the Beta Release Channel, you may instead submit your APK file directly:

1. Generate a Secure Download Link:

• Upload your APK file to a secure cloud storage service (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, Wetransfer).

• Generate a secure, shareable download link.

2. Send the Link:

• Email the secure download link to [email protected] with the entry ID to ensure timely access for the judges.

- Security:Marking the channel as public does not mean your app is discoverable by the general public. Only those with the link can access it.

- Confidentiality: All AIXR XR Awards judges are under strict NDAs and have agreed not to share or distribute any content they review.

This method of access ensures that our judges can efficiently and securely evaluate your app, helping us to accurately assess your submission. It also allows you to keep your app unpublished or in a pre-release state while still participating fully in the awards process.
