The AIXR Social Impact Award celebrates companies, organizations, or individuals that are using VR technology for social impact or public good, and that have demonstrated a measurable and positive impact on society or a particular community.

Judges are seeking organizations or individuals who demonstrate exceptional creativity and innovation in identifying a problem/need, conducting research and planning, and achieving their objectives.

Nominated projects must be original, creative, and immersive, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with VR technology while also prioritizing accessibility. Award recipients should demonstrate an exceptional level of innovation and delivery, highlighting their milestones, achievements, and key results.

Additionally, this award recognizes the importance of impact and seeks to honour projects that have demonstrated a significant positive change in the world.

Conditions for this category

  • Nominations are accepted on behalf of clients or direct.

  • Released between 04 August 2022 - 03 August 2023

  • Projects must be made available for judging purposes

The entry fee for The AIXR Social Impact Award is discounted to £110 + VAT
